Home just before CNY...

Yeah!! Home ady... Although it'd just been 4 short weeks since I left for sem 2, but the feeling of home is just so heartwarming and refreshing :) some ppl might forget everything abt college/uni when they get home, but i still think a lot abt it... some ppl, the troublesome assignments, running through my head all the time...


This year is a bit different from all my CNY in the past... Every year i'll help out in the preparation of CNY, such as helping my mum make all types of cakes and snacks, decorating, or cleaning... this year i'm only home five days before CNY...


Last night, when i just got back home, the CNY mode wasn't activated yet, cuz too tired i guess... but today is a different story... kept on helping my mum do lots of stuffs, so busy till i dun have much time in front of my computer... haha... although quite tiring and troublesome, but this have finally switched on my CNY mode... XD I just hope I can enjoy this year's CNY even more than other previous years... =)

desire, disappointment and surprises...

Throughout my life, I've come across a lot of happenings that sometimes led me to conclude one thing. The more u desire something in ur life, the harder it seems to be achieved. Consequently, disappointment plays its role. But the less u desire something, it'll just sometimes be given to u, in a blink of an eye, that easy. That's surprises, both pleasant n depressing included.

One example in my life is how much I wanted JPA overseas scholarship. I remembered how I prayed every night to God to grant me my wish, how I fantasized my future in the West, how I would get to know lots of ah mo frens and other international ppl. But like I said, what I got in the end was disappointment, no JPA, no Petronas, no nth. However, there was a twist in the story, in the end I got JPA local scholarship through reappeal. That was surprising, because they always say it's hard to succeed in reappeal. Truthfully, I never wanted local scholarships at all, as I thought they were all noob scholarships, no offence. Hmmm, but now, I would consider it a pleasant surprise, cuz life is quite ok now.

Now though, I wan something else so badly that I can think of it every day and night. This makes me think of what I said earlier, 'The more u desire something in ur life, the harder it seems to be achieved'. I can only hope that this theory of mine won't work this time, pls dun let disappointment be the ending. =(

Meaningless weekend =(

oh well, this weekend isn't as meaningful as the last two weekends lo... originally planned to go to Times Square to finish up my CNY shopping, but in the end, the idea was called off due to fatigue and a troublesome chemi class quiz on monday, sigh~~~


so what did i do the whole weekend? let's see, friday night watched a movie 'The International' on my lappy until 3 in the morning... I'm not even going to post the movie poster here, cuz it was a complete waste of my time, super lousy movie with an even lousier ending >.<


due to the sleep at a very 'early' hour, i woke up at 11.30am on sat... my whole sat was spent on a chemi workbook with 50+ pages of exercise... that's it, yes, a reli pathetic sat... =.=


today? nth much oso, church in the morning... whole day stucked to a few chemi books and the laptop...


conclusion: this is very typical... i'm sure more of this will come in the coming weekends after CNY, when all the assessments and assignment deadlines come rushing at the speed of light... sigh... 28th January 2011, come faster!!!

Bravery .....

Bravery is something hard to achieve... U have to have the guts, and the heart as well... Sometimes I just hope I have the bravery, the guts and the heart... and not think too much abt the unknown consequences... Can I get to the ultimate decision asap? Sigh... Bravery, I need u..... i dearly need u.........

Falling For You ..... XD

After a long chat with a fren yesterday, suddenly I just thought of this beautiful song... ^^ It just shows us that, no matter how we want our dream boy/girl to be, what conditions they must have, most of the time, u'll just realise that he/she is not as perfect as u want him/her to be... just as the lightning strikes between ur eyes, sparks fly and butterflies all over the place, that's when u'll know he's/she's the special one for u... haha... enjoy~~ Xp

another saturday~~~

Oh well, it's another Saturday on the outside for the whole day... before I start this, let's just ignore what i posted in the post earlier... I admit that i was too emo at the time, and posted stuffs that were too out of control and insensible... Sry abt that :)

Anyway, back to topic... went to Sunway Pyramid today with Hooinee and Cherish at first, but actually the whole day was spent with Hooinee only lo, cuz Cherish got her own frens to look after, haha... hmmm, basically what we did the whole day was quite simple... shopping for clothes first, and I bought a new shirt for CNY again, this time based on her opinion, hehe... then lunch at ss15, Jojo Pan Mee... back at the pyramid, we bought Starbucks! Honestly, this is only the 2nd time in my whole life that I ever bought Starbucks, what was it called again? Chocolate chips what what, forgot ady, Haha!! But what matters most is I enjoyed it, thx to Hooinee for recommending it Xp

At 2.55pm, we went to watch this movie at TGV... the movie was around 1 hour 30 mins, and the whole cinema was fully packed! Luckily our seats were ok... So let's get to the point, how was the movie? In my opinion, this movie was very very funny, lots of humour and non-stop laughters, but most important of all, it was a very meaningful story... It's a reminder to all, of our principles in life... the only negative for me is that, the touching part of the movie was too short, cuz it was mixed with humour... anyway, I do recommend all of u to go watch this movie, if ur looking for something meaningful and full of laughters =D

After that, we went a few places then went back ady lo... overall, today was a nice day... chatted a lot with my fren, awesome... XD but now fatigue is flowing through my whole body, aiks... last week Mid Valley, this week Sunway Pyramid, next week Times Square/Sungei Wang?? HAHA!!

I HATE MY LIFE!!

Yes, just as illustrated by the title, I reli reli HATE my life now... I'm tired of living in all this never ending PRESSURE!!!!!! Not even 2 weeks into MUFY 2nd sem, and the pressure is so overwhelming ady....... Why??! I dun even know how to explain this stupid pressure... Could be the course outline, could be the lecturers' forceful attitude, could be my feeling of being unable to live up to expectations, OR..... Could be all the NERDS around me, who have no life at all, and in doing so, they're destroying my life oso.......... College is supposed to be a meaningful and unique study experience, but in my memory now, all I'll ever recall abt MUFY is pure darn PRESSURE... I pray to God that this 5 months will end asap... there's much more to life than this!


Gosh... And the lecturers are claiming that Uni will be much worse than MUFY~~~ What has life become?? Is there nth good to look forward to anymore? At the back of all holidays are just more and more pressure... Then, shud I conclude that life is just simply pathetic? Maybe so.............. >.<

First week back...

Hmmm, there's a lot of stuffs that happened in this first week... I guess I enjoyed most of the time, though the pressure is catching up with me very swiftly... zzz....


College...
Life in the 2nd sem is erm, how to say... it's always great to meet all my frens after being apart for so long... however, in the case of this sem's subject outline and all that stuffs, they're reli going to drown me very soon, sigh~~~ 
Chemistry, the lecturer is quite ok, she's very nice but strict at the same time... on Thursday, I was late for her class for 30 mins due to heavy traffic, but she didn't say anything n still smiled when she saw me... haha... Maths, this has to be the most boring class that I have, no one talks in class, the lecturer is quite boring, no offense... Biology, the lecturer is great and I have lots of frens in the class... Lastly, English! The lecturer is the most interesting, controversial and strictest lecturer I ever had... Although I enjoy his classes a lot, but oh dear, the pressure is just overwhelming in his class, not just cuz of him, but also classmates who r all damn pro in English... 
However, all in all, this sem is going to be so tough... I've got research project and presentations for every subject I have, GOSH!


Friends...
Like I said before, it's nice meeting 'long lost' frens, haha... However, best of all, I've formed a gang with three other guys... They r Matt Matt, Longkang and Vignerd, HaHa!! It's just great now that we always hang out together, no matter it's food, games or studies... Other than them, it's great to catch up with a group of girls oso, all frens from Biology A class last sem... Now I have more ppl to talk to on the internet, great... haha...


Weekend...
So how did I spent my first Saturday back here in Sunway? Surely I was not gonna rot at the hostel, so I went with the gang I mentioned earlier to Mid Valley... I bought a T-shirt there for the coming CNY, they bought their stuffs oso, and we walked around... but typically, boys dun take too many pics, so I've got one to share here only, Haha! Sry abt that...

After all the shopping, we went to watch 'Season of the Witch' at GSC, Mid Valley... 

The movie was erm, ok... 1 hour and 35 minutes... What's it about leh, I won't say too much about it, dun wanna spoil ur fun, haha... let's just say it's abt witches and a lot of ancient stuffs... Would I recommend you to watch it? Erm, like I said, it's an ok movie... but if ur looking for funny stuffs or super action stuffs, then dun watch this!
After the movie, we went back and that's how my Saturday went... In total, I wasted RM94 in one day, not too much not too little, haha...

MUFY!!

After roughly 2 months of holidays at home, here I am back at college... Hmmm, first day of semester two, and we have to register for our units... Today was fine actually, I arranged and got the timetable that I wanted... Met many college frens along the way... Reli happy to see some of their faces... Haha...


The only negative that I got is that we start class tomolo straightaway! Haiz, i'm completely not in the mood for studying lo... But then, things that must happen will happen... Let's just hope this semester two is a pleasant journey for me...


For now, I just wish the next four weeks can be over ASAP, Chinese New Year is coming!!! Haha!! Xp
